NAC brought in facilitators from Homespun who introduced several ideas of how the participants could turn “things they would have normally thrown away in their daily life” into not only useful, but also nice gadgets. The participants then had hands-on experience of making pin cushions, bags and vases from recycled cloths, T-shirts and water bottles. It was definitely an enriching arts-cum-recycling experience for 30 of CCS’ members of all ages.
